Adoption Process

Our adoption fees range from $300 to $400, depending on the age of the animal. This fee covers spaying or neutering, microchipping, and up-to-date vaccinations. The adoption process requires submitting an application, obtaining application approval, signing a contract, and completing a home check. Additionally, a follow-up home check will be conducted six months after adoption. The new adopter must also agree to be listed as a secondary contact on the microchip for the animal's lifetime. We have a lifetime return policy that must be acknowledged and signed by the new adopter.

Service Areas

We primarily conduct our adoptions in the Orange, Riverside, Los Angeles, and San Diego counties of Southern California. Please note that we do not facilitate out-of-state adoptions.

I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue in Corona, CA

I.C.A.R.E. is a no-kill dog rescue organization that accepts all breeds. We focus on rescuing dogs at risk of euthanasia from shelters, as well as abandoned, abused, and stray dogs. Additionally, we take in many owner-surrendered dogs, which are pets that can no longer stay in their homes due to financial or personal circumstances. Our mission is to decrease the number of dogs euthanized in shelters each day. We rescue and rehabilitate these dogs in loving foster homes until they are adopted into permanent homes. Furthermore, we are committed to educating the public about specific dog breeds, the rescue process, and general canine care. I.C.A.R.E. is entirely run and supported by volunteers.
