Mutts in Need in Newport Beach, CA

We are a dedicated group of volunteers based in Southern California, primarily serving Los Angeles and Orange Counties, committed to rescuing abandoned animals. Our mission includes caring for strays, victims of abuse, and animals at risk of euthanasia in shelters throughout California. Currently, we do not operate our own facility and depend entirely on the generosity of foster families who provide temporary homes for animals until they can be adopted into permanent families. We collaborate closely with other rescue organizations and are always in need of volunteers to help showcase animals during weekend events, as well as foster pets until they find their forever homes. Our founders began their journey many years ago as volunteers with various nonprofit organizations across the United States, making animal rescue a significant part of their lives. Many members of our team have their own rescue pets, including dogs, cats, and other animals. "Critters in Need Pet Rescue" is a recognized animal rescue and placement organization. With your support and the assistance of our community, we can save numerous lives and create joyful experiences for both people and animals. We are continuously seeking help in various areas of pet adoption. Volunteers are urgently needed to provide foster homes, assist in showcasing animals at events, conduct home visitations, promote our efforts, transport pets, and engage in other projects aimed at placing as many animals as possible in loving homes.
