Adoption Process

To begin the adoption process, please discuss the animal you are interested in over the phone and complete an application that will be emailed to you. Once your application is processed, you will be invited to meet the animal in the rescuer's or owner's home. After this visit, you will finalize the adoption agreement by signing it and paying the adoption fee. Following this, you will receive a one-hour consultation that provides essential information about pet parenting. During this consultation, you will learn about proper pet foods, how to avoid emergency situations, the best natural cat litters, and common veterinary issues, along with tips on maintaining your pet's health. If you are a renter, please ensure you have a copy of your lease that confirms pets are allowed and that you have paid any necessary deposits.
