ForeverHome Pet Rescue was established in 2005 by dedicated animal rescue volunteers with the mission of providing care and compassion to homeless and abused animals in the Los Angeles area. The organization is a private, not-for-profit entity that relies entirely on private donations and the efforts of volunteers to operate. We aim to serve as a valuable resource for individuals and groups interested in animal welfare, continuously expanding our outreach within the community. Every weekend, we host adoption events at various satellite facilities and animal-friendly businesses. Our goal is to maintain a high level of public visibility through community events and initiatives that focus on important issues such as spaying and neutering, volunteering, and animal adoptions.

Adoption process

To begin the adoption process, applicants must complete and submit an application form. The Board of Directors will review the application to assess whether the applicant is a suitable match for the pet. If deemed a good match, we will reach out to the applicant to schedule a home check. Should the home check proceed positively, the applicant will then sign an adoption contract and make the required adoption donation.

Service area: Our adoption process includes a home check and follow-up visits; therefore, we typically restrict adoptions to the local areas of Los Angeles, Orange, and Ventura Counties. However, exceptions can be made for special needs or senior pets.
