Adoption Process

To begin the adoption process, applicants must complete and submit an application form. The Board of Directors will review the application to assess whether the applicant is a suitable match for the pet. If deemed a good match, we will reach out to the applicant to schedule a home check. Should the home check proceed positively, the applicant will then sign an adoption contract and make the required adoption donation.

Service Areas

Our adoption process includes a home check and follow-up visits; therefore, we typically restrict adoptions to the local areas of Los Angeles, Orange, and Ventura Counties. However, exceptions can be made for special needs or senior pets.
