Adoption Process

The adoption process includes completing an application, participating in an interview, and undergoing a veterinary check if necessary. In some cases, a home check may also be required, followed by the signing of an adoption contract. Puppies are spayed or neutered by the time they reach six months of age. The adoption fees are $350 for puppies and $250 for dogs. These fees cover spaying or neutering, microchipping, rabies vaccination, distemper vaccinations (a series for puppies), bordetella vaccination, and a heartworm check for dogs.

Service Areas

We have established a partnership with Animal Friends of Barbour County in West Virginia, which serves the state of West Virginia. We transport their dogs, typically already vetted, to the Virginia area for adoption.

Animal Friends of Barbour County in Woodbridge, VA

We have collaborated with Animal Friends of Barbour County to facilitate the adoption of their loving pets. They handle the majority of the vetting process, after which we transport the dogs to the Northern Virginia area, where there is a higher population of potential adopters. This partnership not only creates space in their facility but also finds wonderful homes for the dogs. Any remaining funds from the adoption process are returned to Animal Friends of Barbour County.
