Adoption Process

The adoption process involves several key steps to ensure a successful match between the adopting family and the child. Initially, prospective parents must complete an application that includes background checks and home studies. Following this, families may participate in orientation sessions to understand the responsibilities and expectations of adoption. Once approved, families can be matched with a child based on specific needs and preferences. After the match, a transition period allows for gradual introductions, leading to the finalization of the adoption in a legal ceremony. Throughout the process, support and guidance are provided to ensure a smooth transition for both the child and the adopting family.

We are a rescue organization dedicated to both feral and domestic cats. Currently, we are in the process of incorporating and will subsequently file for non-profit status under 501(c)(3). Our mission has two primary objectives. First, we aim to rescue cats that are considered "at risk" of euthanasia at local animal control facilities. This includes pregnant mothers and their kittens, who often face immediate danger. With the support of foster homes, we work to provide safe havens for these vulnerable cats. Second, we are committed to assisting the feral cat population in our community through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) initiatives, ensuring that no feral cat is neglected. Our adoption process includes an application and a veterinary check prior to adoption. Adopters must sign a contract agreeing to have the cat spayed or neutered by a specified date, and to never declaw the cat or allow it to roam outside. The adoption fee for each cat reflects the cost of any veterinary care the cat has received while in our rescue.
