The adoption process includes a home check, reference check, an interview, the signing of a contract, and a fee of $300.

Virginia German Shepherd Rescue in Centreville, VA

Virginia German Shepherd Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization operated entirely by volunteers. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home German Shepherd Dogs. We offer a safe haven for these dogs, as well as occasionally other breeds and mixes, who find themselves in shelters facing uncertain futures, are surrendered by their owners due to circumstances such as moving, illness, divorce, or death, or are victims of abuse or neglect. We strive to place dogs in loving, responsible, and secure homes, primarily in Virginia and the Metropolitan Washington, D.C. area.
