Our Vision and Mission We are dedicated to saving the lives of dogs and cats facing uncertain futures, with a particular focus on animals in high-kill shelters to help reduce annual euthanasia rates. Additionally, we offer spay and neuter services to our local community to address unwanted litters. Our founder, Roni Taylor, has been rescuing animals since her teenage years. In 2011, she formalized the organization following the passing of her Weimaraner, Lola. Since then, we have: - Successfully placed over 4,500 animals in permanent homes. - Significantly decreased the number of unwanted litters and the euthanasia of homeless animals. - Educated the community on the importance of spaying and neutering and provided information on local low-cost or free resources. - Expanded our rescue efforts from focusing on large and giant breeds to including all cases that require our assistance. All of our animals are housed in foster homes, as we operate as an all-volunteer nonprofit organization. We aim to continually increase our network of fosters and volunteers to save more lives. We welcome support from local businesses and individuals, whether through financial contributions, pet food, animal supplies such as crates, leashes, and collars, or by sharing our mission on social media. Our operations rely entirely on community donations and support, and we take pride in this relationship as we grow our rescue efforts.
