Adoption process

To begin the adoption process, please complete an adoption application. A member of the Paws & Co. Adoption Team will contact you within 24 hours to discuss your application. If your application is approved, we will arrange a time for you to meet the animal within three business days. After the meet and greet, you will have 24 hours to decide whether you would like to proceed with the adoption. If you choose to move forward, the Paws & Co. Adoptions team will contact your references. Once everything is confirmed, we will finalize the adoption and schedule a pickup time. Typically, adoptions through Paws & Co. take about one week from the application submission to the final adoption. We appreciate your prompt communication, as we are a fully volunteer-run nonprofit organization committed to responding to all inquiries within 24 hours and honoring your time. Adoption fees at Paws & Co. cover spaying or neutering, vaccinations, and microchipping. The adoption fee is $125 for adult dogs and $200 for puppies under six months, reflecting their increased veterinary needs. This fee is collected at the time the dog is taken home and is non-refundable.
