Adoption Process

Working Dogs For Vets provides a structured adoption process for individuals seeking a service dog or emotional support animal (ESA). The first step is to submit an application. We offer training and adoption services for service dogs. If you are looking to adopt a dog that cannot work as a service dog, it can be adopted as an ESA or a pet. If you require a service dog, please include a letter from your doctor with your application. Once we receive your application and the doctor's letter, we will contact you to schedule an interview appointment. After the interview, if your application is approved, we will invite you and your family back to our facility to meet the available dogs for adoption. During your visit to the facility, you can find a pet that suits your needs. If you are seeking a service dog and require training assistance, we will arrange classes for you.
