More about Dimitri

How can you not fall in love with this sweet face? Dimitri came to us as a stray—just a young pup—and we can only imagine everything he’s already experienced in his short life. Despite that unknown past, he has remained incredibly sweet, wiggly, and full of joy. Dimitri is a happy, cheerful boy who truly loves life and is always eager to share it with his people. He’s at a wonderful age where he’s highly impressionable, eager to please, and ready to soak up structure, guidance, and love. With the right home, Dimitri is going to grow into an incredible lifelong companion. We don’t know if Dimitri has lived with other dogs before, but he absolutely seems to enjoy their company! He’s always excited to make a new friend and has a gentle, playful way of encouraging others to join in. We are more than happy to provide a dog meet and greet prior to adoption if needed. As a young pup still learning the ropes, Dimitri will benefit from consistency and routine as he adjusts to home life. We do believe he will thrive with structure and stability as he continues to build his skills and confidence. He appears to be mostly potty trained, though he may still have the occasional accident as he continues learning—especially overnight, which is very normal for a pup his age and in a shelter environment. Dimitri is enthusiastic on leash and enjoys getting out and about, though he will continue to benefit from leash manners and basic training as he grows. The good news is he is bright, responsive, and absolutely eager to learn. Dimitri is such a special young dog with so much potential ahead of him. Whoever welcomes him home is going to be gaining a truly wonderful companion—and we have no doubt he’s going to make someone incredibly lucky.
