More about Skadi
Meet Skadi! Skadi is a beautiful 1‑year‑old tortie with a heart as sweet as her striking colors. She was found as a stray, but from the moment we opened her carrier, she showed us just how loved she must have been—immediately leaning in for affection and proving she’s one of the gentlest cats you’ll ever meet. She’s currently enjoying life in one of our free‑roam rooms, where she spends her days finding the coziest nap spots and happily indulging in all the wet food she can get. Skadi is wonderfully social: she’s great with kids, gets along well with other cats, and hasn’t shown any negative reactions to dogs.Skadi is the kind of cat who brings calm, sweetness, and warmth wherever she goes. She’s ready to find a home where she can be adored just as much as she adores her people. If you’re looking for a loving, easygoing companion, Skadi may be the perfect match for your family.Skadi's adoption fee is $75, which helps support their medical care and preparation for adoption. Please note: All of our animals are spayed/neutered and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Each pet also receives a behavioral assessment to help us better understand the type of home they may thrive in. However, it’s important to remember that the results may not fully reflect an animal’s true personality, as shelter and foster environments can be stressful. If you are interested in meeting any of our animals, we encourage you to first visit our website and submit an adoption application: https://www.acskc.org/adopt-1Once your adoption application has been approved, we will call you to set up an appointment to meet with the pet!
