Meet Mackenzie! Mackenzie is a stunning 48-pound, 2 year old girl who appears to be a Wirehaired Terrier mix, possibly with Border Collie and Schnauzer. She is fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations, including rabies. Mackenzie’s story began with heartbreak—she was found tied to a post with a basket of puppies by her side. Despite everything she had been through, she remained loving, gentle, and trusting. Her puppies are now old enough to be fostered and adopted, and it’s finally Mackenzie’s turn to find the loving family she deserves. This beautiful girl loves people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs, children, cats, and even horses. She has a friendly, social personality and enjoys being part of whatever her people are doing. She loves car rides and may even understand Spanish better than English! Mackenzie would thrive with an active family that can include her in their daily adventures. She would especially love a home with another young, playful dog who can match her energy and be her companion.
