WATCH MY VIDEO...Meet Melo, a handsome 1 year old Black Mouth Cur who is patiently waiting to become part of a loving family. Believe it or not, this wonderful young dog was found by a good samaritan with no collar or identification, and no one ever came looking for him. Their loss is truly another family's gain. Melo has won over the hearts of our staff and volunteers with his sweet personality and excellent manners. He takes treats very gently, is housebroken, and absolutely loves to eat. He enjoys car rides and happily relaxes in the back seat. He even knows how to play fetch and will proudly bring the ball back to you. If you're wondering what his favorite color is, it's orange, so don't be surprised if an orange toy quickly becomes his favorite! Melo also knows to leave people alone while they are eating, enjoys playing with toys, and loves spending time with his favorite people. As a young dog, he still has plenty of energy and curiosity, so his ideal family will continue his training, provide regular exercise, and give him the guidance he needs to become the very best companion he can be.
