More about Moose

Moose is the absolute best—sweet, goofy, and always happy to be by your side! When he first arrived at the shelter, he was a little unsure of everything, but once he realized he was safe, his wonderful personality began to shine. Now he’s one of the happiest guys around, always ready for a walk, a game of fetch, or a good scratch session with his favorite people. Moose has become a regular on our Miles & Mutts adventures and has proven himself to be an excellent hiking buddy. He loves getting outside and exploring, but he’s equally content to relax and enjoy some quality time with his people. He’s the perfect balance of adventurous and easygoing! This handsome boy has done wonderfully meeting new people and has blossomed into a friendly, affectionate companion. He also has a generally friendly demeanor with other dogs and enjoys saying hello. If you have another dog at home, we’re happy to arrange a meet-and-greet to help everyone get acquainted. Moose appears to be potty trained, though like any newly adopted dog, he’ll need a little time and patience to settle into his new routine. He walks nicely on a leash and knows several cues, including sit, down, come, and shake—what a smart boy! If you’re looking for a loyal adventure buddy who’s just as happy hitting the trails as he is soaking up love, Moose may be your perfect match.
