More about Lilith

Like so many dogs who enter our shelter, Lilith was a little unsure of the busy shelter environment. While she still appreciates slow, proper introductions, we’ve been so happy to watch her confidence grow. These days, she greets us with gentle tail wags and her sweet, quiet personality shines a little brighter every day. Lilith came to us as a stray, so much of her past remains a mystery. What we do know is that she’s a kind, gentle soul who will need a patient family willing to give her the time and space to adjust to a new home. Taking life one step at a time and celebrating the little victories is exactly what Lilith is all about. We believe Lilith is likely potty trained, as she keeps her kennel nice and clean and has done wonderfully using a dog door. In fact, the hardest part is often convincing her to come back inside—especially when the sun is shining! She also walks nicely on a leash and already knows the cue sit. Lilith enjoys peaceful, quieter environments and will likely do best in a home that isn’t constantly busy or chaotic. One thing that never fails to make her smile is spending time with other dogs. She truly lights up around canine friends and seems to thrive with their companionship. We are more than happy to provide a dog meet and greet before adoption if needed! Lilith is such a special girl with so much love to give. We know shy dogs are often overlooked, but those who take the time to earn their trust are rewarded with an incredibly loyal companion. We can’t wait to see Lilith find the patient, loving family she deserves and finally enjoy the happy ending she’s been waiting for.
