Hi, I'm Holly Jane. Holly Jane is an 8-month-old Airedale mix puppy weighing around 30 pounds. She should not get much bigger than she is now. She came to us as an owner surrender when she wasn't able to live in a home with children. Holly is not comfortable around kids and will snap at them. Holly Jane was not socialized correctly so she struggled with insecurity. She was adopted out, but came back because she was not comfortable in a city environment. We sent her to Camp Merricks to get some confidence and training. Since being at Camp, she has learned a lot from the stable dog packs she has socialized with. She has learned dogs are fun, and enjoys playing with dogs her size. She is still hesitant around larger dogs, that approach too quickly, but she is learning so much. Holly Jane will need an adopter who is committed to continuing her training and socialization so she can continue to be a confident dog. Whoever adopts her will have support from the trainers at Camp Merricks to continue her journey. Once she is comfortable with you she is a snuggly, sweet girl.
