Meet Claire!Meet this beautiful 2-year-old tortie, Claire! This sweet young girl is the perfect blend of playful curiosity and calm companionship. At just 2 years old, she’s past the tiny kitten chaos but still young enough to enjoy toys, exploration, and fun little bursts of energy throughout the day. She has a stunning tortoiseshell coat full of rich, unique coloring—just like her personality, no two days with her are exactly the same! Once she feels comfortable, she enjoys gentle attention, cozy spots to relax, and simply being near her people. She’s looking for a forever home where she can feel safe, loved, and understood. With a little patience and a lot of kindness, she’s sure to blossom into a loyal and affectionate companion.Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday.Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 18 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
