She came in as an owner surrender due to her family moving, and while her past included neglect, she’s now looking for a calm, understanding home where she can finally feel safe.   She is not spayed due to age considerations and has had limited positive social experiences, so she will need patience, consistency, and gentle guidance as she learns to trust again.   -7 year old 42lb female Australian Shepherd / Cattle Dog Mix -Easy and calm on leash -Not highly treat-motivated -Independent but gentle nature -Curious about the world around her -Needs time and patience to build trust -Shows interest in other dogs -Best with one-on-one dog introductions -Not suited for large dog groups -Adults recommended   Chula is the kind of dog who doesn’t open up instantly — but with the right person, she can slowly begin to trust and form a quiet, meaningful bond.
