More about Fiona & Debbie

Fiona and Debbie are bonded sisters a year and almost a year and a half old. Fiona and Debbie were trapped as kittens from an outside colony, but their first-time trapper got attached to them and their siblings! They spent their first year of life in their home with their human and their cat siblings and they had everything they needed. Then life unexpectedly changed for their human, and the kitties had to be rehomed. Fiona and Debbie do not fully understand these changes yet. They miss their human, their home and their cat housemates, but they are learning and accepting that they are safe and loved and that they will always have each other. They are trying so hard to be brave girls. Fiona takes the lead and loves wet food tube treats (think Churu) and getting chin scritches from your pointer finger. Debbie will follow her sister’s lead and if Fiona thinks you’re ok, Debbie will eventually, too. While Fiona seems confused, Debbie seems heartbroken….but interested. We know a home for these 2 deserving girls is out there. A home with patience, tube treats, a cat bed big enough for both of them and a forever family that will help them know what it is to have a home again. They have been around other cats in the home. They have seen dogs through the window, but they have never met a dog up close before. They know human children exist, but they have not hung out with kids before. Once they are settled and confident, they’ll be thundering down down the hall like big brave girls. They are truly Thundering Paws cats, cats who needed a safe spot to land before they find their forever home. Adopting Fiona and Debbie will be rewarding for everyone involved. Watching cats relax, learn to feel safe again, and figure out they are home with their forever humans is a joyful and fulfilling experience!
