More about Pina

Itty Bitty PINA is the sweetest little Yorkshire Terrier. She's about 7 years old and tips the scales at just 5.8 pounds. Pina is all about the love. Her favorite time of day is cuddle time and she's always on the lookout for a cozy lap to curl up in.  She would love to be someone's constant companion and given her tiny size you can take her anywhere. She's a friendly girl who is happy to meet new friends. Pina came to us from a rural shelter and is so happy to hang out in a nice stable home. She's clearly not received good care and her teeth are pretty icky. She has a dental scheduled to get her all fixed up. Pina will require regular grooming, her adopter should be prepared for that expense. If you'd like to meet little Pina, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. You can meet Pina at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 11:30am-1:30pm at PetSmart Eastgate.  Our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
