Meet Lila, the 1 year old grey and white kitty! This affectionate girl was found in the parking lot of the Capitola mall, and was brought here to safety. Here in the shelter she has been loving all the attention from our volunteers. They have said that she makes biscuits, purrs, rolls on her belly, and cuddles up for even more pets! They have also said she is observant and curious, and loves to play with a wand toy. Its safe to say she is a well-rounded lady—both playful and content to be a lap cat. If you are looking for a kitty companion who can do it all, come down and meet Lila! Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them
