Meet Bama! Bama is an 8-year-old Bichon mix weighing around 20 pounds who is looking for a patient and understanding forever home. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. Bama can be nervous around new people and may need a couple of meetings before he feels comfortable, but once he trusts you, he becomes a sweet little cuddle bug who loves being close to his people. His previous owner says he does well with kids, and we would like the whole family to come meet him to help make sure everyone is a good fit. He is manageable on leash but would benefit from some basic training and continued confidence building. Bama is dog selective, so a dog test will be required for any potential canine siblings. His history with cats is unknown, so very slow and patient introductions would be best. Bama loves being outside, going on walks, and playing with squeaky toys. He enjoys the simple things in life and would thrive with someone willing to give him time, patience, and love. One important thing to note is that Bama does not enjoy vet visits or grooming and will need sedation for both.
