Lucee is a special gal who is ready to leave the shelter life behind her. Lucee lived a very sheltered life prior to her time at the MSPCA, and because of this, change has proven to be hard for her. She had the same owner her entire life and she loved them dearly. She was always very affectionate with her person, and we expect that she will bond to her next person similarly, but it will take time, patience and consistency. Lucee would do best in a quiet, low-traffic, adult-only home with a patient and cat-savvy adopter. One thing she excels at is communication, and it is very important that her next person is skilled at listening and respecting that communication. One of the first things you'll notice about her is how....food oriented.....she is. While that will definitely help her as she transitions into her new home, once she gets comfortable, she will need to go on a vet-supervised diet to make sure she will be with her next person for the long-haul.
