More about Gertie

***Gertie will be available for adoption at the Tractor Supply in Ringoes, NJ over the May 16-17 weekend. An application for her adoption can be submitted at socorescue.com (no need to register or login). Questions about Gertie and/or our adoption process should be sent to [email protected]; please do not call the Rescue's phone number.*** Gertie and her three siblings were surrendered to our rescue by their owner. SoCo Rescue will be helping the former owner get the mom to this litter spay. The pups have been fostered at the home of one of our staff members and given excellent care, including being well-socialized towards people. If we had to pick one single word to describe Gertie, it would be "Happy". Just look at that smile on her face and the joy in her eyes. Someone is going to be very blessed by adding Gertie to their home.  Gertie has received 2/3 of her first year "puppy" vaccinations, been de-wormed at proper intervals and started on her flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. Her adopter must agree to having Gertie spay once she reaches 6 months of age and provide verification of such to our rescue. Gertie will require all of her basic training.
