***Chester is scheduled to attend our upcoming adoption event at Tractor Supply in Ringoes, NJ over the May 30-31st weekend. Questions about Chester and/or our adoption process should be sent to [email protected]; please do not call the Rescue's number.*** Chester and his five siblings were found as stray puppies by a family in a neighboring county. Two of the pups found new homes with members of the family that found the pups and the remaining four, including Chester, were surrendered to SoCo Rescue. Chester will let you know immediately that becoming friends is inevitable. His very playful, energetic personality makes him well-suited for just about any home situation, including one with children and/or other dogs as long as he is provided with plenty of room to run and play. Chester has received an update on his yearly vaccinations, de-wormings, started on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. He is also scheduled to be neutered prior to being transported north. Chester will need additional house and leashed training once in his new home.
