More about MILLER
Miller was found roaming a local neighborhood when he crossed paths with his finder. Wanting to keep him safe, his finder took him home, secured him, fed him, and brought him to the shelter in hopes of reuniting him with a family. With no microchip and no ID tag, no one ever came to claim him.We were told that Miller seemed uninterested in other dogs while with his finder. Here at the shelter, he recently met a slightly smaller spayed female friend and was very friendly, energetic, and playful with her. He showed off big play bows, zoomies, and would occasionally check in with his handler for reassurance.Though large in size, Miller was a bit nervous for his first walk from his kennel to the exam roomâbut once inside, he was calm, cooperative, and even attempted to climb into the laps of the medical team, as if trying to make sure âlap dogâ was added to his notes. If you are looking for a gentle giant to add to your family, please come meet Miller in person. Meet and greets with other dogs and children are always recommended to ensure a great fit.All adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and current on age-appropriate vaccines and preventatives. Adopters should establish veterinary care after adoption to support their new petâs ongoing health. The 3-3-3 Rule:⢠3 days to decompress⢠3 weeks to adjust⢠3 months to build trustMillerâs adoption fee is 80.We operate on a first-come, first-served, in-person adoption process at 430 Bristol Drive, Statesville.Adoption Hours: MondayâFriday 12â5pm, Saturday 11amâ2pm.Miller ⢠A317383 1 year 6 months old, 77.80 pounds, neutered male
