More about Smokey

This cat is part of our shelter outreach program where we take pets from overcrowded shelters in hopes of finding them a forever home here! We generally do not have much background info on them. They are all up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered and microchipped.  FIV/Felv negative.   Meet Smokey the cat. This handsome boy recently arrived from an overcrowded NYC shelter and has already stolen hearts here! Don’t let his shy first impression fool you…the second you call his name, Smokey comes right over looking for love and attention. He’s quickly becoming a staff and volunteer favorite for a reason. Smokey is the perfect mix of playful, affectionate, and sweet. He enjoys soaking up attention and being near his people. Right now, he seems happiest soaking in all the love as the only cat, but he’s still decompressing from shelter life, so we’ll continue learning more about him as he settles in. If you’re looking for a gentle love bug with a soft soul and lots of affection to give, Smokey may be your guy.
