**Meet River Va**   River Va is a lovely young female German Shepherd, estimated to be about 1–2 years old, and she is ready to find a family of her own.   River is friendly with both dogs and cats, which makes her a wonderful possibility for a home with other pets. At her age, she is past the tiny puppy stage but still young enough to have plenty of energy, curiosity, and learning ahead of her.   River will thrive with an adopter who understands that young German Shepherds need structure, consistency, exercise, and continued training to help her mature into the wonderful companion she is meant to be.    Adopting a young dog is a long-term commitment that includes training, vet care, exercise, and making her part of everyday life.
