More about Walter (Livermore)
Adorable, soulful Walter is a 9-month-old neutered male basset hound who came into GGBR with his female companion, Maisie, due to the owner's housing issue. He is a healthy dog who has a good temperament, getting along well with people and other dogs. Walter is somewhat reserved, but affectionate. He has discovered dog toys and enjoys playing with them. However, because of his tendency to consume inedible objects, including some plastics, socks and underwear, he requires toys that are not easily destroyed, or swallowed. Because of his history of eating socks, we think that an adult home may be more suitable for Walter than a home with children where toys and articles of clothing might be more accessible. Walter and Maisie enjoy playing together. They can be adopted separately, but would probably appreciate a home with another doggie playmate.
