Meet Mama! At just a year old, Mama has already raised 8 beautiful puppies and kept them safe after surviving life on the streets. Now that all her babies have found homes, it’s finally Mama’s turn. Mama is a gentle, loving girl who may be shy for the first few seconds, but once she knows you’re a friend, she gives you her whole heart. She loves other dogs, walks beautifully on leash, rides calmly in the car, and is soaking up indoor life like she was always meant for it. Her silky satin coat is finally shining now that she’s healthy, safe, and well-fed. She’s smart, playful, and still has a few puppy habits we’re helping her work through, including gentle mouthiness during play and ongoing house training. Mama would love a home with a dog buddy, but she’d also be happy as your one-and-only best friend. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself.
