Chorizo is a 4-month-old, 5 pound Chihuahua mix and one of the triplets, along with his siblings Taquito and Chamoy. He may be a little shy when first meeting new people, but give him a little time and you’ll quickly see his affectionate side come through. Once he warms up, he loves to give kisses and be part of the action. Chorizo enjoys playing with his sister and his canine foster brother, especially when he gets to run around the yard. He’s making great progress with house-training and continues to build confidence each day. Because he is still learning to feel secure on leash and in new environments, a home with a securely fenced yard will be the best fit to help keep him safe while he continues to gain confidence. With a patient and loving home, he will blossom into a wonderful companion. His minimum adoption fee is $350 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
