More about Tank
Meet Tank!If you're looking for a big, lovable sidekick to join you on life's adventures, Tank may be your perfect match. At 80 pounds, Tank is a gentle giant with a moderate energy level and an easygoing personality that makes him a joy to be around.Tank is fully potty trained, crate trained, and sleeps quietly through the night. He walks well on leash and isn't reactive to other dogs or people, though his size and strength mean he can pull when he's excited.Tank lives with another dog and has also spent time with a small Chihuahua without any issues. He enjoys both playtime and relaxing with his canine companions. He also lives peacefully with a cat and has shown no interest in bothering his feline housemate.People are Tank's favorite thing. He loves meeting new friends, soaking up attention, and being included in family activities. Tank enjoys car rides and makes an excellent co-pilot for errands, road trips, and weekend adventures. Whether you're heading out for a walk, visiting friends, or relaxing at home, Tank is happiest when he's with his people. As a large, powerful dog, Tank would do best with a family that has experience handling large breeds and can comfortably manage his size and strength.Tank is a social, affectionate dog who loves being part of a family. He's ready to find a home that will include him in everyday life and appreciate having a loyal companion by their side. This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. (Please note: Puppies under 3 months old may not be sterilized prior to adoption. If this is the case, your adoption coordinator will provide guidance on the process.) To adopt or learn more about this dog, you must complete an adoption application, which can be found on our website: www.sandypawsrescue.com. PLEASE READ: • If a dog or puppy is listed, they are currently available for adoption. However, they may already be pending an adoption, and their profile may not yet reflect this. • All information is accurate to the best of our knowledge as of the posting date. • Unless explicitly stated, Sandy Paws Rescue does not guarantee the breed of any dog. Breeds listed are educated guesses made by shelter staff, volunteers, or veterinarians. Many of our dogs are mixed breeds, often with pit bull-type genetics, resulting in a wide variety of physical traits and temperaments. Our dogs come from various situations, such as kill shelters, owner surrenders, or as strays. It is likely both parents were mixed breeds as well. Sandy Paws Rescue does not have a public shelter in Massachusetts. Our dogs reside in private foster homes or boarding kennels in the South until adopted. Many dogs are spoken for prior to transport or release from state-mandated isolation. For information on adoption fees, procedures, or FAQs, visit our website: www.sandypawsrescue.com. The FIRST step in adopting from Sandy Paws Rescue is to submit a completed adoption application.
