Please meet gorgeous Abbie. This beautiful Boxer girl is truly something special. We were asked to help find her a new home when her mom became critically ill—and sadly, we just learned that her mom passed away yesterday. Abbie is understandably heartbroken. She was very shut down at first and went off her food, but she is slowly starting to come around. What she really needs now is a home—someone she can bond with again and feel safe. She is currently in a kennel setting, which is not ideal for a dog like Abbie, who is used to having her person by her side. About Abbie: 9 years young Good with other dogs (we prefer a male, or possibly a small dog under 20 lbs) Kids 10+ Cat compatibility: testing can be arranged Fully vetted, spayed, and up to date on vaccines Heartworm negative No known health issues Abbie would do best in a home where someone is around more often—she’s used to companionship and thrives on that connection.
