We are only considering applications in our local area - 1 hour or less from Arcadia FL - see below for more info.  You must live in a single family home in order to be considered - puppies of this age cannot be in grassy or common areas where any other unknown dogs have been so places like condos, apartments, villa homes, etc. are not options.   We do require that you have recent verifiable dog/puppy history and excellent vet history in order to be considered for adoption of a puppy.  IF YOU DO NOT MEET THESE REQUIREMENTS YOUR APPLICATION WILL NOT BE PROCESSED. NAME:    Poppy BREED:    Kokoni - see notes below SEX:       female COLOR:    tan/white AGE:    born 1/16/26 WEIGHT:   6 lbs as of 4/20/26 LOCATED IN:   Arcadia SOME COOL INFORMATION ABOUT ME:  Poppy came to Canine Castaways as an owner surrender with some facial skin injuries back in March.  She has healed wonderfully and is ready to find her forever home!   She is a super sweet puppy and well socialized.  ***Poppy's previous owner said she is a pure breed Kokoni - this is a breed from Greece and not one you might normally find here.  So rare that Petfinder doesn't even list it as an option!  They look similar to the Tibetan Spaniel so we ended up listing her that way.  Google has a lot of info on the Kokoni breed so I would encourage you to check them out!!
