Yolo County Animal Services is always looking for safe outdoor homes for cats that need barn homes. Why barn cats are a great fit: •             Natural rodent control (great for farms, barns, shops, vineyards) •             Low-maintenance and generally independent About the cats: •             Mostly shy to semi-feral (not aggressive—just under-socialized) •             Healthy, spayed/neutered, microchipped & vaccinated Ideal home: •             Barn, stable, shop, warehouse, or rural property •             Shelter (barn, shed, garage, etc.) •             Daily food, water, and basic care •             Willingness to give them time to adjust We can guide you through a simple acclimation process so they stay and settle in. These cats deserve a safe place to land—whether as working mousers or, possibly, companions over time.
