More about Bourbon

Bourbon was surrendered by his owner because he was not longer able to give him the care he needed. The owner says that Bourbon is a Black Lab Mix that is playful, loving, gentle, huggable and bonds easily. Bourbon is new to the shelter, so we are still learn more about him. He is very shy at first and takes some time to warm up to you. It seems he warms up to females faster than men. He appears to be house trained. But with any new dog in your home, he will need to learn your routine as you will need to learn his cues that he needs to go out. He  is still young, so he is ready to learn even more!   With some time and patience, Bourbon may be the companion you were looking for! All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered (if they are old enough) before they leave the shelter. If the dog is not old enough, you will be given a voucher for Animal Medical Center in Emmett to cover the cost of the spay or neuter.
