More about Cookie

Mario and Cookie are a bonded pair of pugs. They are not siblings, but they are very close in age and have always been together. Their previous owner passed away and they were surrendered to KPR. Cookie is a girl and Mario is a boy; both are 6 years old. They are both fawn colored, but Cookie is smaller than Mario.  Cookie and Mario are both very happy and love being around people!  Their favorite place to hang out during the day is on the couch and they love to sleep next to you in bed. We have been crate training them when we leave the house to work on potty training. They have come so far and only occasionally have accidents in the house. Cookie and Mario get along well with other dogs, cats, and children. They are both so sweet and are ready for their forever family! Cookie recently underwent surgery to remove incredibly large bladder stones. The results of testing the stones is that Cookie will need to be on urinary food for the rest of her life and have routine urinalysis every 3 months to ensure this doesn't happen again. She has healed well from her surgery and also had a dental cleaning recently, too!
