Hershey - Female DOB 2/5/2025 Domestic Short Hair - Calico Hershey is a super sweet calico who likes to be right in the middle of things. Whether she's watching the water drip in the sink, following you around hoping for pets, or stretching out in a sunny window, she has a way of making herself at home wherever the day takes her.   She's a big fan of a good lounge — you'll often find her sprawled out on her side or with her feet tucked out in front of her. Once she's settled in, she's very much a lap cat, though she'd prefer to get there on her own terms rather than being picked up. Hershey is pretty flexible when it comes to her living situation. She lived with another cat in her foster home and was perfectly content to just do her own thing alongside them, so she'd be just as happy as an only cat or sharing a home with a feline companion. She was also around a cat-friendly dog in foster, so that could work too with a slow and proper introduction. Older kids only would be the best fit for her. Hershey likes to be able to scoot out a door into our office and sometimes will even pull the screen door open to go out and explore something new, and for this reason, she would only be able to go to a home that has a foyer or extra room to go through to prevent her from running out behind people going in or out of an outside door.  If you're looking for a laid-back, sweet-natured girl who will happily follow you around and then settle in for a long nap on your lap, Hershey might be just the one.
