More about Spaz

Hi, I’m Spaz — a 9-year-old tuxedo lady with a soft heart and a mind of my own.   I’m the kind of girl who enjoys affection… when I decide it’s time. Give me a brush, though, and I’m all yours — seriously, I love being brushed. It’s my favorite way to relax (well, that and napping… sometimes in the bathtub — don’t judge, it’s cozy!).   I tend to keep to myself and enjoy my independence, so I’d do best in a calm home where I can do my own thing and come to you when I’m ready for love.   I do want to be upfront — I have chronic diarrhea, so I’ll need a patient human who understands that I may need a little extra care and attention to keep me feeling my best.   My world recently changed because my person became ill and could no longer take care of me. It’s been a big adjustment, but I know there’s someone out there who will give me a safe, peaceful place to land.   If you’re looking for a quiet, unique companion who will share her affection in special moments, I might just be your girl.   If you are interested in adopting, applications can be found on our website www.ahimsahaven.org.    Meet and greets are with an approved application by appointment only.   As always, cats that are ready to be adopted are spayed/neutered, have age appropriate shots, are micro-chipped, dewormed/deflead, and FEL/FIV tested.
