Bowie is a survivor of a heartbreaking hoarding situation from last year, where over 100 dogs were rescued from a trailer fire. Despite his difficult past, Bowie’s gentle spirit still shines through. He can be a bit nervous when meeting new people, but give him a little time and you’ll see his sweet personality emerge. Once he feels safe, Bowie happily accepts attention, comes up for scratches, and doesn't mind being picked up and snuggled. He’s proven to be a very good boy—he handled his bath like a champ and is making great progress adjusting to life in a home. Bowie is currently wearing a belly band in the house as he continues to learn and settle into a routine, but has been doing well going potty outside. With patience and consistency he’ll keep improving every day. He would thrive in a calm, understanding home where he can finally experience the love, care, and stability he missed out on in his earlier years.
