Cubbi is a Mixed Breed puppy born around 2/12/26, and this 13-pound bundle of fun is packed full of personality. With his short legs, long body, and nonstop happy energy, Cubbi has never met a toy, adventure, or canine friend he didn’t love. His sister Sunni’s DNA test confirmed what everyone suspected: he’s a true mixed breed, with Australian Cattle Dog and Australian Shepherd showing up as his top breeds in a wonderfully diverse mix of 21 other breeds. He is smart, playful, and always ready for the next adventure. Cubbi is incredibly social and absolutely adores other dogs. He has done great with everyone from tiny 5-pound Chihuahuas to large 85-pound dogs, and some of his favorite moments are spent wrestling with his Chihuahua foster brothers. He also loves zooming around the yard, chasing a ball, playing "you can't catch me", and then crashing for a well-earned nap after playtime. This little guy has made wonderful progress in his foster home and is settling into crate time. Like any puppy, he will still need continued guidance with house and crate training, basic obedience, and learning the rules of the world, but Cubbi is eager, affectionate, and full of potential. While Cubbi has not had a ton of exposure to children, he has done very well with them during the interactions he has had so far. He’s a happy, friendly puppy who genuinely enjoys being part of the action. Cubbi is the kind of puppy who keeps you laughing one minute and melts into your lap the next. His foster mom says he would probably never leave if she didn’t already have two dogs of her own. He is going to make an incredibly fun and loyal companion for one lucky family. If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick with a big personality in a small, wiggly package…Cubbi is ready for his next quest.  His minimum adoption fee is $350 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
