Hi there, I’m Canelo, a 2‑year‑7‑month‑old Boston boy weighing in at a solid 26 pounds of pure sweetness. I’m the kind of guy who gets along with every dog I meet—seriously, I’ve never met a pup I didn’t like. I’m still figuring out how to play and just how fun it can be, but I’m trying my best and getting braver every day. One of my favorite things is running around the yard with the breeze in my face… and then heading straight to the couch for a well‑earned nap. I also love watching the world go by—people, dogs, whatever’s out there—right from the gate. It’s like my own little TV. I’m still learning, but I’ve mastered the doggy door, and I’m working on my leash skills. Car rides? Oh yes, I’m a big fan. Kids? I’m gentle and relaxed, so I do great with them. Honestly, I’m just an easygoing guy who wants to be part of the family. I would absolutely love to have a doggy friend to help me keep learning and to share my days with. I’m the sweetest boy, I promise, and belly rubs are my love language. Just one funny thing about me… I do not trust that doggy in the mirror. He looks suspiciously like me, and I’m not sure how I feel about that! We are always looking for good foster homes. These homes allow us to rescue more Boston Terriers in need because we have a place for them to go until they are adopted.
