And yes… he really is THAT handsome in person! Ferdinand has a fun, active spirit and loves to stay on the move. You’ll often find him happily trotting around the park, exploring his surroundings with curiosity and confidence. He is agile, playful, and always ready for a little adventure. But what makes Ferdinand truly special is his softer side. After a good round of exploring, he’ll pause, settle in, and flash the sweetest, biggest smile at you … sometimes even striking a pose like he knows just how charming he is! He also enjoys the excitement of running along the fence line with other dogs, sharing playful energy and making new friends from afar. Ferdinand is ready for a home that will embrace both his playful spirit and his loving heart. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
