Sweet, sweet BATMAN is a gentle old soul that is looking for his home! He loves to sleep and still plays like he is 2! Batman was found wandering the streets with an unclaimed microchip in South Carolina. He is a cat who in his retirement prime and he comes fully loaded with expert-level purrs, gentle head-butts, and a gaze that says, "Just come over here and pet me already!" Batman is a professional lap-warmer, a distinguished gentleman of the shadows, and living proof that even a Dark Knight needs a good chin scratch to save the day. Batman instinctively knows when it’s dinnertime and has an expertly timed biological clock tuned to the exact millisecond of when it's time to eat. Batman does great with other cats (no timid housemates please), dogs, and kids. He would do well as a second cat in a household but would also like to be your only cat.   If you’d like to meet Batman, please fill out a cat adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a meet with an approved adopter! You can also meet Batman at our weekly adoption event every Saturday 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at PetSmart Eastgate. Our cats are fully vetted and we require indoor-only homes. All other pets in the home must be spayed/neutered and up-to-date on all vaccines. We will not send cats to home where they will be declawed as it is a harmful practice that can cause lifelong physical and behavioral problems. Our cats are all spayed/neutered, vaccinated, combo tested, dewormed, and microchipped.
