More about Max

Little Max is the sweetest thing! When he got here, we noticed his brother Malfoy would aggressively keep Max away from the food and water bowls. Max was underweight and dehydrated and we now knew why. We had to split them up but they are doing just fine. Max loves attention and affection. He is also playful and curious. He will do great with other dogs and probably kids too.  Mom is a Catahoula Mix but we have no idea what dad is...possibly a Hound. Max is about 3 months old now and will be bigger when full grown, maybe 60-70 lbs. If you would like more information, please contact the shelter at 870-269-5200 or go to our website at schspets.org and complete an adoption application and someone will contact you for a meet and greet.  UPDATE:  Max just entered the Paws in Prison Program for 8 weeks of obedience training.  He will be house trained, leash trained, crate trained and learn tricks too.  He will graduate mid June and ready for adoption.
