More about Spring

This cat is part of our shelter outreach program where we take pets from overcrowded shelters in hopes of finding them a forever home here! We generally do not have much background info on them. They are all up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered and microchipped.  FIV/Felv negative At 7 years old, this beautiful calico-tabby lady is ready for a fresh start...and a cozy lap to call her very own.  Spring’s journey hasn’t been an easy one. She was surrendered to a Philadelphia shelter when her owner could no longer afford the care she desperately needed. With severe dental disease and an upper respiratory infection, her chances there were sadly very slim. But we couldn’t let this sweet girl suffer...so she came to us, and our medical team got to work.  After multiple dental extractions (poor baby must have been in so much pain), Spring is finally on the mend and feeling SO much better! And now that she’s comfortable again, her true personality is shining through.  This calm, gentle soul has quickly become a staff and volunteer favorite. She may be a little shy at first, but give her a moment and she’ll be snuggled up right beside you, purring up a storm. And when she’s feeling playful? Watch her happily bat around her favorite little mouse toys.   And can we talk about her looks for a second?! Spring has the most striking calico-tabby markings- a true little work of art with a one-of-a-kind coat that will absolutely steal your heart.  Spring is the definition of a chill, loving companion. We’re not sure how she feels about other animals, but honestly…we think this princess deserves a castle (and lap) all to herself.  If you’re looking for a sweet, low-key best friend to share quiet moments and cozy cuddles, Spring is your girl.
