Around 4 years old, this coal-black boy with his one little speckled white foot came to us unsure of everything - leashes, toys, even gentle hands. He used to belly crawl like a soldier in the hallway, trying to disappear from a world that hadn’t been kind to him.But Trenton is so brave.Now he lets us leash him and walks through the hallways, no longer trying to hide.
