He does not like it when other dogs get in his face.CATS: Dexter tends to chase the cats when he sees them. KIDS: Dexter would benefit with a household that has older kids that will take him on long walks and play with him. HOUSE BROKEN: Dexter seems to be potty trained. ENERGY LEVEL: Dexter loves to be outside and around his humans. Dexter can always be seen running around the yard with a toy in his mouth. Dexter has been to some DISC competitions and is great at jumping and catching Frisbees! Dexter has been in the shelter environment for a long time and is eager to find his forever home. Dexter would thrive in an active environment where he can play for as long as he would like. LEASH WALKING: Dexter is super excited and eager to go on walks. He does like to pull occasionally but has gotten better over time as we work on leash walking with a no pull harness.
